Peter Mallios will serve as a Managing Member of the Company. Mr. Mallios is a highly experienced commercial real estate operator specializing in the Washington DC area retail market. He is a licensed real estate broker in DC, Maryland and Virginia, and has extensive expertise in the real estate sector beyond brokerage, including property management, accounting, advertising, finance, real estate law, development, and zoning. Mr. Mallios heads the retail department at Summit Commercial Real Estate, a full service real estate brokerage in downtown Washington DC. He specializes in retail leasing and investment sales. Mr. Mallios is a longstanding member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and has served as Chair of numerous ICSC Idea Exchange committee’s over the years. Mr. Mallios, his wife and children reside in Potomac Maryland. Professional experience of Mr. Mallios includes the acquisition of fourteen commercial real estate investments in his career with aggregate acquisition costs of $40 million, representing over $11 million of invested equity. He currently is the managing member of 9 of these buildings. These acquisitions include value-added, fully leased, and vacant properties and ground-up construction. Mr. Mallios handles all aspects of ownership including management, leasing, overseeing renovations, long term positioning, transaction administration, investment syndication, zoning, regulatory and governmental approvals, and interaction with investors.
